Huss Valley Guide: How to Play & Win
Huss Valley is a 30-player tag game on Roblox. The rules fit in one sentence: Runners cross the field, Chasers catch them. Here's everything that follows from that.
Rules, controls and items below are reported by fan guides (hussvalley.online, hussvalleywiki.com, read Oct 2026). We haven't tested them ourselves, and updates may change them. The tips are our own advice based on how the rules work.
The rules
- At the start of a match, one player is randomly chosen as the Chaser. Everyone else is a Runner.
- The arena is a rectangle with a start line and a finish line at opposite ends.
- Runners win by reaching the finish line three times, and every Runner has to survive each crossing.
- When a Runner is caught, they become a Chaser for the rest of the match. The Chaser team keeps growing.
- The Chaser wins by catching everyone.
Controls (reported)
| Action | Key (PC) |
|---|---|
| Vault | Space |
| Slide | C |
| Shift-lock | Left Ctrl |
| Use ability | Q |
Movement has momentum: you speed up and slow down gradually instead of stopping instantly.
Runner tips
- Use momentum. Because you can't stop on a dime, plan your dodges early. A sideways move before the Chaser closes in beats a late panic turn.
- Don't go first, don't go last. The front runner draws attention, and the last one gets swarmed. A spot in the middle of the pack gives you cover.
- Save your ability. Keep it for the moment a Chaser is about to tag you, not the start of a crossing.
- Vault and slide to change your height and direction suddenly. That's harder to track than plain running.
- Watch the converted. Every caught Runner is a new Chaser, so later rounds get crowded. Spend your items on the late crossings.
Chaser tips
- Cut angles, don't chase tails. Runners have to go toward the finish line, so move to where they're heading.
- Coordinate once you have teammates. Two Chasers coming from opposite sides leave a Runner nowhere to dodge.
- Target the isolated. A Runner who strays from the group has no one to hide behind.
- See abilities for Chaser tools like Bear Trap and Rufus's Leash.
Gems, Coins & items
- Gems buy permanent abilities, with one equipped per role. See the abilities list.
- Coins buy consumables. You equip one item type, and each pack has three charges. Banana Peel and Adrenaline are reported at 135 Coins per pack and Rescue Kit at 203 (per hussvalleywiki.com's shop screenshot notes).
- Codes give free Gem and Coin boosts. See Huss Valley codes.
